Westside Estates was founded in 1996 primarily to take advantage of the huge demand for property in the West, North-West London and Middlesex area. However within our first year of operation, we experienced a huge demand for our services from all over London and the South-East, and because we "never turn away any business" we had to rethink our strategy in order to accommodate our clients' demands.
Today, we are very well positioned to take advantage of demand for our services all over the South-East and beyond. We have been able to achieve this by centralising our operations so that we do not require an office in an area in order to successfully operate there. Of course, our main area of strongest coverage remains in West and North-West London and Middlesex.
We have striven over the last three years to create a name for ourselves in the property market. We did so by getting involved in every aspect of the business from the large commission earning activity which all agents compete for to providing free advice on property related matters even to persons with no intention of passing business to us.
We were initially very busy letting virtually anything that came over way. Even business which our competitors were all turning away. Today, we now have a vast database of property owners all over London. Our experience shows us that the ground work we did then was well worth it because it is those landlords for whom we let perhaps just a single room who are now instructing us to sell their property.
We have also near perfected our customer services strategy such that nine out of ten clients who have had the pleasure of dealing with us will not go elsewhere in future. Whereas traditionally in the United Kingdom, estate agents have earned a bad reputation for themselves, we pride ourselves as being highly distinguished, honest, fair and very professional estate agents: the majority of our clients will vouch for that.
Mortgage:
Mortgages and other aspects of property-related finance are beginning to account for an increasing amount of our business. As our list of investors increases, it is providing more and more properties for letting and for sale to meet the massive demand.
Three successful years down the line, Westside Estates now has an annual turnover of close to £ 250,000. We are expecting this to rise sharply between now and our fifth year of operation. We have future plans of floating the company on the stock exchange, giving our clients the opportunity of owning their stake in the company as a reward for the support they have shown us over the years.
Construction:
Westside Estates recently entered into the recruitment market for the construction trade. We have enlisted a large number of highly skilled and semi-skilled labourers for small to huge building and construction projects. We expect this to have a huge impact upon the supply of properties for letting, management and sale, to Westside Estates.
